Animal-free recombinant Carboxypeptidase B Rat expressed in Pichia pastoris yeast for research applications requiring precise C-terminal arginine/lysine removal. Carboxypeptidase B (CPB) consists of 307 amino acids with a molecular weight of 34.5 kDa and pl 5.76.
CPB is manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality system. Animal-origin-free (AOF). Suitable for research use only (RUO) applications. GMP Grade is available upon request (made-to-order custom production).
Applications
Carboxypeptidase B hydrolyzes the basic amino acids lysine (L), arginine (R), and ornithine from the C-terminal position of polypeptides.
