Introduction
Ham's F12 nutrient mix was developed for the serum-free clonal growth of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells, lung cells, and mouse L-cells. It can be used for serum-free growth of CHO cultures supplemented with hormones, selenium and other supplements as well as for other mammalian cells, especially cell lines of rodent origin (particularly rabbit and rat).
