Introduction
MCDB media were designed for serum-free growth of specific cell types. Each MCDB medium was formulated to provide a defined and optimally balanced nutritional environment that selectively promotes growth of a specific cell type.
MCDB 153 medium is a modification of Ham's F12 Medium, designed for the growth of human keratinocytes, chicken embryo fibroblasts, and Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells.
