3-D Life Hydrogel Thioreactive Polymers for 3D Cell Culture

The 3-D Life Hydrogels technology by Cellendes is an integrated system for the generation of biomimetic hydrogels used in 3D cell culture. The 3-D Life system consists of two polymers that form a hydrogel by covalent crosslinking at ambient temperature. The chemical reaction is non-toxic to cells and occurs rapidly, preventing cell settlement before the gel is formed.

Thioreactive polymers are dextran or polyvinyl alcohol modified with thioreactive groups along the backbone. They can be covalently crosslinked to form hydrogels.

  • FG: Fast-gelling thioreactive polymers. Hydrogel formation occurs within seconds to 5 min.
  • SG: Slow-Gelling thioreactive hydrogels. Hydrogel formation occurs within minutes.
